“Come on, baby. Let me down and we can put on a show for your two dumb fuck bodyguards.” He’s trying to give me some kind of look but his face looks like it’s been rearranged.
“Oh, we’ll put on a show for them alright,” I whisper, lifting the butcher knife up. I make a cut, starting on the left side of his chest and ending on the right side.
“Ahhhh! You fucking bitch!” he yells out.
“What’s wrong. Ghost? You don’t like that?” I ask him as I make another cut against his abs. He screams out again and it brings a smile to my face. I make a few more cuts on his abs then take a step back. I can feel Raze at my back.
“You better fucking kill me or I’ll make you wish you were dead,” Ghost grits out. I raise the knife above my head before bringing it down, stabbing him in his chest. I keep stabbing him, screaming. I lose count of how many times I stab him. An arm wraps around my waist and a hand goes around my wrist. Raze. I collapse against his body, tears falling down my face.
“Kitty, he’s dead,” he whispers into my ear. I let go of the knife and it falls to the ground with a clank. Raze turns me around in his arms so I’m facing him. “It’s okay, he’s dead. He won’t ever be able to get to you again.”
He tugs me into his chest and I bury my face in his shirt. I cry, letting out so many pent up emotions and he holds me.
After a few minutes, I stop crying and look up at him. “Thank you.”
“For what?”
“For bringing me here. For letting me do that.” I can feel blood splatters on my face. Regardless, Raze grabs my face and kisses me. It’s not a gentle kiss either. Oh, no. It’s a deep, passionate, messy kiss— all tongue and teeth. We pull away and we’re both panting. I give him a small, cheeky smile getting his sexy smirk in response.
“Maybe we should head back to the clubhouse and get cleaned up,” I say, looking between us. Both of us now covered in Ghost’s blood. Raze chuckles.
“Yeah, maybe we should.” He hooks an arm around my shoulders and we walk out of the barn.
“You good, Minx?” Ranger looks a little concerned.
“Yeah, I’m good.” I smile a real smile at him. This morning, and for the past few days, I felt like I had a shadow of Ghost hovering around me all the time. Even knowing the brothers had him chained up somewhere. Now, I feel free. Free of his shadow. Free to move on.
We ride back to the clubhouse in Buster’s car. Raze orders one of the prospects to detail the inside and make sure there’s no blood on his seats. Meanwhile, Raze and I head to his room for a shower.
I strip my clothes off and step into the running water, Raze following right behind me. He lathers his hands with soap then gently washes away any blood on my skin. His touch heats my skin. My eyes flutter closed as he moves me under the water to rinse away the soap, peppering soft kisses along my neck and collar bone.
When I open my eyes, they instantly connect with his. He cups my face with his hand, rubbing his thumb across my cheek. He leans down, connecting his lips with mine. This kiss is soft with just a bit of tongue. We finish up in the shower and as we’re drying off, I feel his eyes on me. When I finally look at him, I see worry across his face.
“Raze, you don’t have to be worried about me. I’m okay.” I walk over to him so I’m standing in front of him. I slide my hand down his bare chest and he inhales a sharp breath. I keep moving my hand down and he stops me as I get to the edge of his towel.
“Kitty,” he growls out.
“I want this, Mason. I want you to erase what he did to me,” I whisper, looking up at him through my lashes. He growls and picks me up by the back of my thighs, both of our towels falling to the floor. He carries me to the bed and lays me down. He looks at me with a hunger in his eyes. I feel my arousal on the inside of my thighs and squeeze my legs together.
“You’re so fucking beautiful.”
The heat rises in my cheeks. Raze climbs onto the bed, placing a kiss on my lips. He lightly runs his fingers up the inside of my thigh, causing my skin to break out in goosebumps. He follows the same trail with his lips, placing kisses from my knee, up to my pussy. He presses his tongue to my clit, putting just enough pressure on it before licking it. He sucks it into his mouth as he slides two fingers into my pussy.
He groans. “Fucking hell. You’re already soaking wet, Kitty.” I look down and he grins. He pumps his fingers in and out a couple of times, earning a purr like moan from me. “That’s my girl. Purr for me, baby.”
His mouth is back on my clit. His tongue and fingers working in perfect rhythm. I start to slowly move my hips in time with his movements. I can feel my release starting to build up and just when I think I’m about to cum, he stops. A whine escapes my mouth and he chuckles.
“I’m not done yet. I just need you to cum on my tongue,” he says before his tongue slides into my pussy. His thumb is on my clit with just the right amount of pressure. He has me worked up again in no time.
I grab a handful of his hair and he moans against me. He starts rubbing my clit a fraction faster. I say his name on a moan as my legs start to shake and I cum on his tongue. He laps up my release and gives me a light nibble on the inside of my thigh before making his way up my body.
Kissing up my stomach, he stops to give my boobs attention, and then more kisses along my collarbone and up my neck. Then he stops, looking me right in the eyes with a big, goofy grin on his face. I hold his face with both hands, butterflies fluttering in my stomach.
“I love you, Mason.” He gives me a full-tooth smile that stretches across his whole face. I’m surprised it didn’t split in half. His lips crash down on mine. He slides his tongue into my mouth and I can taste myself. When he pulls away, he’s still smiling.
“I love you too, Savannah. I’m going to show you just how much.” And show me he does.
We’ve fucked before and this isn’t that at all. He makes love to me slowly, kissing me as he does. I can feel my release building up again. I wrap my legs around him, digging my heels into his ass. I scratch my nails down his back and he growls into my neck.
“Savannah . . .” he draws out.
I smirk then whisper in his ear. “Fuck me, Mason.”
It’s not that I wasn’t enjoying him making love to me. I just need more. I know he does too. He picks up the pace and I meet him thrust for thrust. His hand delves into my hair and he pulls just enough so my chin is up.
He bites right where my shoulder and neck meet, just as my release hits and I cry out his name. He thrusts into me a couple more times before he’s growling out my name and his cum covers the inside of my pussy. He buries his face into my neck and I lightly run my fingers along the back of his neck and between his shoulders.
Just as I feel myself about to drift off, he pops his head up, kisses the tip of my nose and climbs off the bed. “What are you doing?” I ask, watching him move to the closet. He pulls a box off the top shelf and comes back to the bed. I scoot up, pulling a blanket over to cover myself.
“I got you something.” A Cheshire cat grin stretches across his face as he sits down and puts the box on the bed between us. “Open it.”
I lift the lid off, pull out the tissue paper, and freeze. Black leather. I know what it is without having to pull it out. My eyes fill with tears as I pull the leather out. My very own cut. On the back it says, Property of Raze, and it has The Savage Menaces’ logo. On the bottom left on the back, it has RIP patches for Hawk and Jager. Seeing those make the tears start flowing. I set it down and throw my arms around Raze.
“I love it. I love you.” I chuckle. “Thank you for adding the ones for my brothers.”
“Of course, babe. Prez thought they would be a good addition. Some of the brothers, myself included, plan to get them added to our own cuts soon.”
“Take me out on your bike?” I can hear the excitement in my own voice. Raze’s face lights up and he nods.
We both hurry getting dressed. I throw on some skin tight jeans, a fitted grey shirt, and
my riding boots. Then put my hair in a braid. I grab my cut, looking it over one more time before sliding it on. Raze turns to look at me and freezes. He walks over to me and cups my face with his hand.
“You look sexy as hell, Kitty.” He wraps his free hand around my waist, pulling me closer to him. “You sure you don’t want to stay in for another round?”
I laugh and shake my head. “We can have as many more rounds as you’d like. Later. Right now, I want to go on a ride on my man’s bike. With my man.”
“I’m gonna hold you to that, ya know.” He winks at me and throws his arm around my shoulder. We walk into the main room and there are a lot more people here than I thought would be. Saint sees us walk in. He looks from Raze to me. When he sees what I’m wearing, his eyes almost bug out of his head.
“Hey!” Saint cheers. “I never thought I see the day!”
He walks over to us and congratulates us. He wraps me in a hug. “You’re the perfect woman for him. Keep his ass in line.” He pulls away and winks at me. Raze punches Saint in the arm and laughs. Pops sees us and makes his way to us.
“It was only a matter of time,” he says to me. Of course he knew I’d end up with a Menace. He hugs me then nods a Raze, who returns it with a nod of his own. Men.
We slowly make our way out of the clubhouse with someone stopping us every foot or so. We’re standing by Raze’s bike and he’s looking at me like he would take me right here, right now if I’d let him. We both climb on his bike and get situated. Before he starts his bike, he looks at me over his shoulder.
“Ready to ride, Kitty?”
“As long as I’m riding with you.”
He starts his bike and it growls to life. We take off with no destination, just the open road ahead, riding into our next adventure— never riding alone again.
Epilogue
Buster
I’m sitting at the bar in the Savage Menaces clubhouse. Thinking about how this year has played out. Hell, how the last couple of months have played out. Visiting Minx in Texas. Meeting the Savage Menaces. Shit blowing up with Minx’s ex— the dude was a complete psycho. Deciding to move to Texas. For me, it’s moving back, but that’s another story.
When Bull called and asked for help moving guns from my crew, it was an opportunity for us to prove ourselves to him. None of us ride motorcycles. They just don’t do it for us, but we wanted to be in Bull’s good graces. We were moving to Texas after all. Who wouldn’t want to be on Texas’s biggest MC’s good side?
When shit went down with Minx getting kidnapped, we didn’t hesitate to step up and offer to help wherever needed. Her and Rivet have been like our sisters since we first met them. We got Minx home. We were able to get her kidnapper too— an Iron Lord who had gone rogue. Now the clubhouse is off lockdown and everyone is celebrating.
Minx just left to go for a ride with Raze. He finally made her his Ol’ Lady, and I couldn’t be happier for her. He’s nowhere near being anything like her ex. You can tell by the way Raze looks at her that he worships the ground she walks on and vice versa. Looking around the room, everyone is enjoying themselves. The cut bunnies are all here, and the brothers are taking full advantage of that.
Bull and his VP, Ranger, walk up to me. Both of them have blank looks on their faces, not giving anything away.
“Mind if we talk to you and your crew?” he asks me.
“Sure.” I shrug. I signal for Diesel, Clutch, and Shade. The four of us follow Bull and Ranger into the room where they have Church. None of sit until Bull motions for us to take a seat.
“We wanted to talk to y’all about the guns you ran for us. We, as well as the gentlemen who purchased the guns, were impressed with the run. You boys were prompt and never hesitated.” I let out a breath I wasn’t aware I was holding. “I also appreciate how quickly y’all were to jump into action when it came to our club issues regarding the Iron Lords and Minx’s kidnapping.”
“We know y’all aren’t into motorcycles, but we were hoping we could work something out to have y’all as part of the club. Even an extension of the club,” Ranger speaks up. Shade, Diesel, and Clutch all look to me. I already know that the three of them are all for this. This is what we have been hoping for.
“We would be honored,” I tell Bull and Ranger.
Thirty minutes later, our conversation is over and The Savage Riders are born.

Prologue
Buster
Events of the past year have me reconsidering some of my past choices. I thought if I left and started over somewhere new, she’d be easier to forget. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I’ve thought about her every day. Ever since I’ve been back in Texas, I’ve wanted nothing more than to call her, to see her. The only problem is, I have no idea if she’s still here. Like always, my mind drifts off to one of the many memories I have with her. I was too young to understand it then, but she’s had me hooked since that day. I was a dumbass and fucked it all up.
10 years old
I’m sitting in Ms. Cordell’s fourth grade class, trying to pay attention as she talks to us about multiplication. This week, we’re working on multiples of eight. She’s about to hand out our timed times table worksheets when Principal Martin walks into our class with a new girl. She’s pretty. She has light brown hair and light blue eyes.
Principal Martin and Ms. Cordell are talking in soft tones. I glance over and find her staring back at me. I lift my hand, giving her a quick wave and a small smile. Her cheeks turn pink before her eyes move to her feet, avoiding my gaze.
With a smile on her face, Ms. Cordell moves to the front of the room with the girl by her side, smiling. “Class, I’d like you to meet our new friend, Calina. Her family recently moved here. Please, make her feel welcome.”
She turns to Calina and speaks to her in a softer voice. “Calina, sweetie, why don’t you take the empty seat next to Ryan.” She points in my direction and I pretend to be busy. Out of the corner of my eye, I watch her walk over and sit. I catch her eyes and smile.
“Hi,” I whisper. “I’m Ryan.”
This time, I get a small smile from her.
“Nice to meet you,” she whispers back. She has some kind of accent. It sounds cool. I want to ask her where she moved here from, but Ms. Cordell is talking about our math lesson again. I’m paying attention even less this time. All I want to do is talk to Calina and make her smile some more.
Ms. Cordell hands out our times table worksheets. She places them on our desks upside down so we can’t see the problems yet. Once everyone has a worksheet, she walks back to her desk and grabs a timer.
“You will have one minute to do as many problems as you can,” she explains. “Ready . . . Go!”
I flip my paper over, trying to solve as many problems a
s I can. These worksheets always make me so nervous. The problems I struggle with, I skip. Once I finish, I go back to ones I skipped, trying to solve them fast. I still have a few left unanswered when the timer goes off, signaling for us to stop. I set my pencil down and turn to Calina. She’s wearing a bright smile, proud of herself.
“Please bring your worksheets to my desk. Then you may go to lunch,” Ms. Cordell tells us.
“Do you want to sit with me at lunch?” I ask Calina before either of us get up from our desks.
“Sure,” she responds, giving me a shy smile.
We walk to lunch, side by side, without saying a word to each other. I’m not usually so shy around new people, but I don’t want to say the wrong thing and make her not like me. We go through the lunch line. Today’s choices are chicken nuggets or pizza boat. I choose chicken nuggets with mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli, and applesauce. Calina chooses pizza with the same sides.
We take our trays and find a spot to sit. We find a table close to the windows, sitting across from each other.
“You have a neat accent,” I tell her, causing her to blush again. “Where did you move from?”
“We moved here from New York, but my family is from Russia,” she explains.
“That’s awesome! I’ve lived in Texas my whole life. My family has never even been on vacation outside of Texas.” I laugh and she giggles.
“My family visits Russia every Christmas. We don’t do any other traveling unless we absolutely need to. Papa says it isn’t very safe for us.”
I wonder for a second why it wouldn’t be safe for them, but I don’t ask her about it. We fall into an easy conversation while we eat. We talk about what our favorite activities during recess are— we both like four square. Our favorite specials class— mine is PE and hers is art. Our favorite things to do outside of school— she likes reading books and I like anything to do with cars. We both like reading comics.
